The workshop

 

'As professional Artist/Printmakers, Katherine and I wanted to setup a well equip studio for people to learn about and improve upon their printmaking skills and so we established Red Hot Press in 2004'.
'We stand out from other print workshops because we have a lively group of workshop members who range from well established professional printmakers, artists and illustrators, to people interested in printmaking as a leisure activity. We run a varied exhibition programme for members'


'We offer a full programme of courses for beginners, advanced level courses for more experienced printmakers and hire of the workshop facility to experienced printmakers'.

'We offer a full range of intaglio and relief printing techniques and we are the only print workshop in the area to offer non-toxic etching techniques'.

Wood and lino block relief printing

Letter Press printing for type and imagery

Art Equipment Etching Press bed size 48' x 24' (122cm x 61cm)
A Galley Press for relief printing bed size 23' x 17' (58.5cm x 43cm)
A portable relief press bed size 30cm x 21cm
Two Letter Presses for printing type
A wide selection of wooden and metal type for printing text with printed images.
