Outreach Projects

'The children were really buzzing after the session’  - Teacher at Shirley Warren School following our Impact in Print project.

At Red Hot Press we have over 10 years experience of running art projects in schools and youth settings. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality, value for money and, most importantly, fun workshops, which give children a chance to engage in activities and use equipment they may not normally have access to.

All Red Hot Press tutors have current enhanced CRB disclosures and are covered by Public Liability Insurance to the value of £5,000,000.

Using portable presses and inks that are easily cleaned up we can offer your school or project the following activities:

Drypoint – Printing from drawings scratched into acetate sheets.
Bookbinding – From simple folded books to more complex sewn bindings depending on the age range of the group.
Relief Printing – From simple block printing using polystyrene tiles, to creating collaged plates to lino cutting for older children.

We can also discuss specialised projects and printmaking techniques with you depending on your needs.

If you are interested in Red Hot Press running a workshop in your school please contact us via the web enquiry form or phone us. All the details are on the contactus page on this website.
