By Car

From the M3: Exit at Junction 14, following signs for "A33 Southampton". At the roundabout go straight on to The Avenue, and follow the directions below.

From The Avenue: Follow the brown signs for Waterfront/Old Town. After entering the one way system at Marsh Lane keep in the left lane and follow the road round. At the lights (opposite the "Court Jester" pub) turn left into Captains Place. Turn immediately left again into the Old Cattle Market.

From the M27: Exit at junction 5, take the "A335 Southampton". Follow the brown signs for the Waterfront. After entering the one-way system at Marsh Lane keep in the left hand lane and follow the road round. At the lights (opposite the "Court Jester" pub) turn left into Captains Place. Turn immediately left again into the Old Cattle Market.

From the West: Come into Southampton via Millbrook Road and drive up to the city centre past the railway station on your left. At the Civic Centre go straight ahead and cross Above Bar into New Road. At the Seven Dials interchange bear right following the brown signs for the Waterfront. After entering into the one-way system at Marsh Lane keep in the left hand lane and follow the road round. At the lights (opposite the "Court Jester" pub) turn left into Captains Place. Turn immediately left again into the Old Cattle Market.

From the East: Go into the city centre via the Itchen Bridge. At the roundabout as you come off the Itchen Bridge go straight over onto Central Bridge. Turn left into Terminus Terrace and left again at the lights (opposite the "Court Jester" Pub) into Captains Place. Turn immediately left again into the Old Cattle Market.

By Bus

First Bus numbers 8, 10, 11, 16 and 17 and UniLink U1 stop near the workshop.

Buses from town: Stop on Queens Terrace. From the stop walk to the corner of Terminus Terrace. Turn left and up to the corner of Bernard Street (by the Court Jester Pub) Cross over into Captains Place. Turn immediately left into the Old Cattle Market.

City Link: A free bus service every 10 minutes from the central railway station (platform 4 exit) travels to West Quay and Town Quay (journey time of 7 minutes). – If you get off at Town Quay this is about a ten minute walk to the workshop.

Buses from Woolston: Stop at Ocean Village. From there carry on along Canute Road. Turn right into Terminus Terrace. Walk up past The Stanley Casino to the lights. Turn right into Captains Place. Turn immediately left into the Old Cattle Market.

By Rail/on foot/by bike:

Southampton Central Train Station: From the station exit on platform 1 and walk straight up the hill towards the Town. When you get to Above Bar at the Civic Centre turn right and walk all the way down to the Bargate (The medieval gateway to the town). At the Bargate turn left into Hanover Buildings and at the roundabout turn right into Queensway. At the lights turn left into Bernard Street. At the end of Bernard Street cross over into Captains Place. Turn immediately left into the Old Cattle Market.

Woolston Station: Leave the station and walk across the Itchen Bridge towards the city centre. At the end of the Itchen Bridge go straight across onto Central Bridge. Where Central Bridge meets Terminus Terrace turn left. Turn left again at the traffic lights into Captains Place and immediately left again into the Old Cattle Market.
