Carborundum grit is used in printing to give rich, dense areas of ink. We will cover plate making, inking and printing techniques and use drypoint mark making to add lines and detail to your image.

Our programme ranges from one or two day workshops that focus on a particular printmaking technique to longer courses for beginners and improvers and our Foundation in Printmaking that will make you an all round better printmaker.

1 2 1 tuition

We offer 1 2 1 tuition for individuals who require a focused session on a particular printmaking technique. In recent years we have worked with trainee teachers, tutors working in further and higher education and members of the public who are unable to attend our scheduled courses.
1 2 1 sessions can be booked on any day convenient to you when we do not have a scheduled course running. Contact us for prices and to discuss this further or to book 1 2 1 tuition.
