Society of Wood Engravers Annual exhibition

The SWE annual exhibition is always a delight. It’s amazing to see the huge variety of wood engraving that’s being made in the UK and abroad at the moment. Some works are just boggling in their tininess and intricacy. Also it seems that wood engravers have a slightly quirky sense of humour and of the absurd – so there’s always something to have a giggle at. As always the show travels around the country and from 24 Nov – 20 Jan it will be in residence at Victoria Art Gallery, Bath
